Reproducibility typology and analysis wins IEEE PacificVis 2023 Notes Honorable Mention

Max Franke, Guido Reina, and Steffen Koch received the Best Visualization Notes Honorable Mention Award for their publication “Toward Reproducible Visual Analysis Results”: slides, paper (in production)

The paper provides a topology of reproducibility in context of visualization and analyzes its coverage via multiple strategies in context of the respective cost for setup and maintenance. Among the three discussed case studies is the approach using image metadata to store reproducibility information that is implemented in MegaMol.
